I know that this is overdue, but it took me a bit to try these products out 🙂
This month’s theme: Best In Glow
Cover FX Illuminating Primer-I like this product, but I don’t know how illuminating it was for me. I liked that it went on smoothly. I have to be wary of where I apply illuminating products because I have an oily T-zone. So, I just applied this on my cheeks and a little bit at the edges of my forehead near my hairline. I think I would have to try it again though before I made my final decision.
Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet-To be honest, I was kind of disappointed to get this product. I have already received it before in another thing from Sephora. When I tried it out before I really liked it. So, I’m glad I have another sample to use. It is really moisturizing and light on the skin, which is nice for my sensitive skin.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Rose Gold-I have never tried anything from this brand before, so when I saw this I was really excited. The color is gorgeous! It also goes on so smoothly and blends really well. I used it as an all-over color on my lid, but it could be paired with other colors for a more dramatic look. It has the perfect amount of shimmer for an everyday or evening look.
Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Pin Up Pink-When I saw this, I was immediately turned-off by it. I am not a big fan of bright pink anything. This lip product is majorly bubblegum/Barbie pink. I’m sure the product is nice and all, but it’s just not for me.
Glam Glow THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment-I have also not tried anything from this brand, so I was excited to try this too. I was expecting it to be kind of mask-like, but it was more like a moisturizer. The consistency is kind of weird. I used it as a moisturizer and let it sink in overnight. But you can use it as a mask and wash it off after.
Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Lipstick On-This is a brand that is blowing up and being talked about all the time. It’s also one I’ve wanted to try, but I’m not willing to spend the money on it 🙂 I was excited about receiving this until I tried it out. It is not the scent for me. It’s a little too flowery and powdery for me. I pretty much smelled like a grandma the whole day. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but this was kind of unbearable.
That is what I received in my box in November. I hope you enjoyed reading about the product and what I thought about them. Let me know if you receive this box and what you got in it. Also let me know if you’ve tried any of these products.
