One Product Review: Aura Cacia Rosehip Oil

I have been using this product for over a month now, and so I thought I would share my thoughts on the product with you.
I really have been loving using this product in my everyday skincare routine. Before using and/or buying this oil, I did some research to make sure that my skin wouldn’t react badly to it; I highly recommend doing any kind of research before buying any product that you will use on your skin. When doing this research, I found that it has a lot of benefits but I mainly bought it for scarring.
I’m not sure yet if it has helped the scarring issue because I’m in the process of treating adult acne, but I have noticed that it has kept my skin really moisturized and the redness. The texture is nice, but it does feel greasy on the face. I find that this doesn’t really bother me because the product is an oil.
It is also not scented. This is a plus for me because I don’t like to use a lot of heavily scented products on my skin, especially on my face. I have pretty sensitive skin, so scents don’t always mesh well. The product is all-natural, which also explains why it’s not scented.
The oil is easy to apply to the skin. I like to press it into my skin because I think it absorbs better. But you definitely can apply it however you’d like. As for how much product to use, I would say one pump is good enough. The bottle says two pumps, but I found that I have excess left on my hands.
The only thing I am not a fan of is the pump mechanism of the packaging. The product can get stuck and then clogs the pump up. As a result, the product can squirt out and go everywhere. This happened to me the other night and got all over my sweatshirt I was wearing. It wasn’t pretty 🙂
Now, I know it can sometimes be hard to find products like this. I found mine in a local health food store. I also found it on Amazon. I know when you hear all-natural product or health food store in a sentence, you immediately think ‘expensive.’ I hear that too 🙂 I am hear to tell you that this oil wasn’t that expensive. I spent about $9 on this brand.

Let me know if you have used Rosehip oil, or any other oils, and how you liked/disliked it/them. I would love to read your suggestions.
