Hello Lovelies!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like on the other side after you die? I mean not in a morbid way.

The author, Hannah Lynn, captures it perfectly.

The story is all about Walter Augustus and Letty and how their lives (I use this term lightly in Walter’s case) become intertwined through a poetry book.

When Hannah sent me the blurb for this book, I was intrigued by the story. I don’t think I had ever read a book like it. Now that I have read the whole thing, I didn’t think I would become so invested but I have. It’s all a testament to Hannah’s writing. I really got lost (in a good way) within the world of Walter & Letty.

I actually kind of felt a connection with Letty. She is a woman who just likes to go about her day and tries to please everyone around her. She doesn’t like confrontation and she does everything for everyone around her before she does anything for herself. Until she doesn’t. But I’m not going to give anything away. No spoilers here.

Walter is kind of the same way. He just takes it on the chin and doesn’t stick up for himself. Until he’s had enough. Again, no spoilers here.

I think that’s why Walter & Letty were so connected. They had so much in common. It turns out that they both really need each other to overcome. And I think that’s beautiful.

We are all looking for some kind of connection, whether that’s friendship or romantically. We are social beings. But we also want to know that there is someone out there looking out for us. Call it a guardian angel or call it the universe. I think that’s what this story is really about.

I genuinely have nothing negative to say about this book.

I just want to thank Hannah for contacting me and giving me the opportunity to read her book. It has been a real pleasure.

Speaking of the author, she is running a giveaway. If you would like to win a Kindle Paperwhite and an e-copy of the book, you can enter here.

If you would like to buy the book it’s 99¢ on Amazon through the end of the blog tour. I know she would very much appreciate the support 🙂

Also, don’t forget to follow Hannah on social media here & here.

One last thing; go check out the other bloggers’ posts. The list is above.

Thanks for reading!

Jess xx
