It’s every beauty lover’s favorite time of year! That’s right! The Sephora Holiday Savings Event. I love this time of year and Sephora got a head start on showing us and releasing all the new holiday goodness. For that, I thank them because I have already got quite the haul in my cart. Now, I most likely will be editing it down but I thought I would share with you all the things I am currently lusting after for the sale.
But first, here are the details:
Rouge Members: November 1-November 11; 20% off
VIB Members: November 5-November 11; 15% off
Insider Members: November 5-November 11; 10% off
For everyone: Sephora Collection is 30% off and starts on the first day and ends on the 11th.
Here’s what’s on my list (so far) for the Sephora Holiday Savings Event:
Paula’s Choice Skincare
Specifically, I am looking to re-up on my favorite skincare line from them which is the CLEAR line. I am currently running low on a few bits that I use every day. I discovered these items a few years ago when I was looking for a solution to my acne. It started flaring up again after years of clearer skin and I found nothing was working. Not only was this a game changer for me, but Paula’s Choice CLEAR came in clutch and helped my skin. I haven’t looked back since. If you are looking for items to purchase during the sale, I always recommend re-upping on your favorite skincare bits and bobs or trying out new brands/items. Usually, there are kits or if you just want to try out a new brand this is the best time.
L’Occitane
Speaking of trying out new brands, L’Occitane has been on my radar for years. And every year I put some of their products in my cart and end up taking them out. This year may finally be the year I pull the trigger and actually purchase. I have my eye on two items, the Hand and Body Care Nourishing Travel Favorites kit and the Almond Softening & Moisturizing Holiday Trio kit. I have such great things about not only this brand but the Almond line specifically.
Summer Fridays
I love everything I’ve tried from this brand. Well, it’s only been two products I’ve ever tried from them but they were really good products. This year, I have my eye on the The Mini Neutrals Lip Butter Balm Set. Each year since they launched their lip balms, there has been some iteration of this set. And each year I put it in my cart and then promptly take it out because I say to myself that I don’t need yet another lip balm in my collection. If it’s still available, I think this is the year I finally buy it.
Glamnetic
As always, I put a couple of their new sets of press-on nails in my cart. I usually end up buying only one, but there are three I am eyeing up this year. The sets I currently have in my cart are North Star, Snowfall, and Terra. Glamnetic is one of my all-time favorite brands for press-on nails and they never fail me. Hence why I have so many in my possession already.
Merit Beauty
This brand is always a go-to for me. I am constantly lusting after items from this brand and yet again they are killing it with their holiday sets this year. There are a couple in my cart; the Mini Flush Balm Cream Blush Trio Set and The Dress Code Lipstick Set. I have been wanting to try their blushes ever since they launched and just haven’t purchased any. Maybe this will finally be the time I do. I also know I already love their lipsticks. I have one in my collection and would love more, hence the lipstick set. Do I need more lippies in my collection? No, but I’m ignoring that fact.
Cay Skin
This is a rather new brand to me. I haven’t tried anything from them yet, but I have heard good things. Currently, I have one of their holiday sets in my cart; the Isle Lip Balm SPF 30 Holiday Lip Trio. Like I said above, I don’t really need any more lip balms in my collection so this is a tentative add to the cart.
Sephora Collection
As I mentioned above, Sephora Collection items are 30% off and I have my eye on one product in particular. Their new skin tint. These days, I’m not big on caking on foundation and prefer a lighter to medium coverage. The Reveal The Real 12hr Soft Radiant Skin Tint will do just the treat. Plus, with 30% off who couldn’t resist?
Pink Setting Powders
Finally, I have a couple of pink setting powders in my cart. Now, I don’t know which one I am going to choose so that is why both are in the cart. Pink setting powders are trending right now and I’m not usually one for following trends. However, I am always looking for ways to lighten my under-eye area after concealer. Pink powder is the go-to for that. The two powders I do have in the cart right now are from brands I love and adore. The first is the Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting & Smoothing Talc-Free Vegan Powder in Candy (Wow! That is a long name!). I have the regular Cloud Set powder in my collection and use it every time I do my makeup, so I know it works and I do love it. The second is the Tower 28 Beauty GetSet Blur + Set Talc-Free Pressed Setting Powder in Palisades Pink (Also a really long name). I have heard really great things about this product too and to be honest, I am leaning more toward this one over the Kosas.
Now, I am constantly looking at the new in page and the pages for my favorite brands so there is bound to be something I add by the sale time. Stay tuned to see what I end up purchasing and I would love to know what you are lusting after for the Sephora Holiday Savings Event. Leave a comment 😊
