Did January seem like the longest month ever this year to you? Yeah, to me too. It felt like it was 1000 days long. Even though it felt long, it did allow me to really enjoy and indulge in things I love. I had three favorite things in January, not including books + TV shows/movies. Here are my January favorites:
Beauty Pie LED Mask
I continued my last year’s obsession with LED masking in January (still in this routine) using the Beauty Pie LED mask. LED light masks became all the rage last year it seemed like and for good reason. I am always looking for ways to indulge in skincare, especially as someone who has been inflicted with a lot of skin issues in the past. This device is the one thing that I have continually stuck to. It also is really relaxing. Every night, I just pop on my mask and sit there for 10 minutes while the mask does its thing. I’ve seen some improvement in my skin, especially for redness and acne scarring. Best money I’ve spent!
Creme Savers
Are these considered “grandma” candy? Sure! Do I care? Absolutely not! These candies are soo good! I consider these to be right up there with Werther’s, another “grandma” candy I love. I used to love these as a kid, so after moving back up north (could not find them in Mississippi) and seeing them in the grocery store I had to immediately buy them. My favorite of the two flavors these come in is the strawberry (they come in orange as well), but the orange flavor is alright too. I couldn’t get enough of these in January.
CeraVe Eye Cream
My final favorite product is another skincare item (can you tell I take my skincare game seriously?); the CeraVe Eye Repair Cream. As soon as winter hit, I noticed that my undereye and eyelid had become extremely dry. The eye cream I was using (e.l.f. Holy Hydration Eye Cream) wasn’t cutting it anymore. I needed something a little more heavy-duty. So, I did some minor research (literally just walked down the skincare aisle at Walmart) and found this one. I’m already a fan of this brand and know their products work. About a week into using it, I saw some improvements and haven’t used anything else since. It’s nice and thick/creamy and really remedy-ed the dryness I was experiencing.
