As you may have noticed (or maybe not 🫠), I didn’t put up an August favorites blog post. That is because I didn’t really have that many during the month. So, I have decided to combine August and September and give you a full roundup of my favorite things during both. Here is everything I was loving during August and September.
Fashion
Kirkland Men’s White T-shirts
I literally only had one fashion item I loved through these two months and that was these t-shirts. There are many pieces of clothing that I find are better in a men’s style and this is one of those items. I love how boxy and long these are. I also really love how thick these shirts are. Many women’s style t-shirts are so thin and cling in places I don’t want them to. These are the perfect addition to any wardrobe because of those aforementioned attributes, but also they go with everything. Makes sense since they are a neutral color. They also come in a six-pack and a black shade.
Internet Things
BTS of Katie Holmes & Joshua Jackson filming a movie in NYC
I had the best time watching everyone’s sneaky videos of Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson filming Katie’s new movie. Seeing some of the BTS scenes reminded me of Joey and Pacey. There was this spinny move where Josh kind of lifts Katie into a spinny hug and it reminded me of scene from Dawson’s Creek when Joey and Pacey are FINALLY together. The unfortunate thing about these…I didn’t get to see them in person 😩
Crew reading his grandparents’ love letters
This has become an OBSESSION! One of his videos came across my FYP on TikTok and I was instantly hooked. He has since made a second account called ‘My Darling’ which goes a little more in-depth with the letters. It’s named after the salutation his grandparents used in their letters. The best thing about these videos…It’s all giving us hope and bringing us back to how it was before the Internet. Writing letters has really become a lost art and I think that is a shame.

The Groomsmen Trilogy
These movies are sooo good! I love the trio of Tyler Hynes, B.J. Britt and Jonathan Bennett. The second best trio on Hallmark channel 😊 I also love that these are a little sexier than the typical Hallmark channel movie formula. This is due to them originally releasing on Hallmark’s streaming service Hallmark+. I don’t want to give anything away, so all I’ll say is that this trio play three best friends and each helps each other navigate through their love lives. Just go check them out!
The Vampire Diaries
This is throwback! A couple months ago, I got the urge to pick back up on watching this show and I do not regret it. This has been a rewatch/finish for me because I got bored in the last couple seasons and just stopped watching. I have to admit though, there have been episodes I’ve watched and have no memory of them. That has been fun because it’s like watching the show for the first time.
