Blood & Oil

16.10.15 | jesslynnwrites | No Comments

This show is about the oil boom in North Dakota and is told from 3 perspectives. The first is of Hap and Darla Briggs, who are big oil company tycoons. The second is Billy and Cody LeFever, a young married couple, who came to North Dakota to start a laundromat but due to unfortunate circumstances find themselves in the oil business. And the third is Wick Briggs, who is Hap’s son, who screwed up so much that he ends up being cut off from the family money/business. He ends up going on his own by stealing from his dad.
Let me just say that it is SOOO good to see Chase Crawford back on TV! I am a huge Gossip Girl fan and missed seeing him on TV. Anyway, this show is great. It shows the many sides of a person; greed, happiness, struggle, ruthlessness, etc. You name it, it’s in the show. I can’t wait for more episodes!
If you end up watching, let me know what you think in the comments below.
