Grandfathered

21.10.15 | jesslynnwrites | No Comments

Grandfathered is about a man, Jimmy, who finds out that not only does he have a son but he also has a granddaughter as well. You find that Jimmy is very vain and cares about what people think of him; I think partly because he owns a restaurant and has to appear a certain way. But when his son and granddaughter show up in his life, he struggles with both sides of himself; the vain, single side and the side that wants to settle down and have a family.

I like this show. It’s hilarious and heartwarming at the same time. I think John Stamos is the perfect actor for this role. In the first episode, I saw a lot of Jesse from Fullhouse in the character of Jimmy. At first, both Jimmy and Jesse didn’t know how to act around kids and you can tell by the end of the first episode that they have learned a lot, and are still learning.

I also really like Josh Peck, who plays Gerald, in his role. He is a very timid, nerdy character and Josh portrays him very well. But I think my favorite character is  Sara Kingsley, played by Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds). She is Gerald’s mom and she is awesome. She doesn’t take any crap and is soo sarcastic. I love it!

Now I have told you what I like about this show. Tell me what you like about it in the comments below.
