Scream Queens

09.10.15 | jesslynnwrites | No Comments

If you like Ryan Murphy, Glee, and American Horror Story, then you will love this show. It’s about an elite sorority that ends up having to let “regular” people pledge. Well, the twist is that this sorority is cursed. All kinds of bad things happen and on top of that there is this red devil figure behind it all.
I honestly thought I was going to love this show, but after watching maybe a half hour of the pilot I had to turn it off. I couldn’t finish it because I thought it was so ridiculous. It is probably one of the most ridiculous and silliest shows I have ever watched. It is so disappointing to me because I love Ryan Murphy and his work. I was truly and genuinely excited about this show. It’s unfortunate.
I couldn’t stand most of the characters. Everything about them is so over the top. The plot was too. It’s like a modern day Scream movie on the little screen. There was one character I did like and that was Grace. She is the only one that seems to have any common sense and a sense of reason. But even so, that is not a reason to continue watching this show. At least for me.
If you end up watching this show, let me know what you think in the comments below.
