Apple & Cheddar Grilled Cheese Sandwich

I absolutely love this time of year because now I can make one of my favorite fall meals, Apple and Cheddar Grilled Cheese. I got this recipe idea from my friend Kate, so I hope she doesn’t mind that I’m using it as a blog post.
What you’ll need:
  • Bread, your favorite kind (I used Texas Toast)
  • Apples, your favorite kind (I used Honeycrisp; I tend to find that the tarter ones work best.)
  • Cheese Slices or block of cheese, your favorite kind (I used Cheddar)
  • Butter
  • Pan
  • Spatula
  • Cutting board
  • Plate
  • Knife (butter and sharper one to slice apples)
  • Corer
How to make (It’s very easy.):
  1. Turn stovetop on and heat pan. I usually turn it to 5 or 6 and then turn it down to 4.
  2. Core and slice apple. Try to make slices thin so they fit on bread.
  3. Butter both slices of bread.
  4. Grab slices or slice block of cheese.
  5. Assemble sandwich on heated pan.
  6. Cook until golden brown on each side. Should take a few minutes for each side.
  7. Serve with your favorite side dish and a glass of milk, or your choice of beverage.
That’s it! Easy peasey! I hope you enjoy this recipe. Let me know how your’s turned out in the comments below. Also, take a picture and tag me on Instagram.
