I thought today I would share my love for drugstore/affordable makeup with you all and let you know my favorites.
This list is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my favorite drugstore/affordable makeup products, but for you beginners (or even you more advanced) in makeup, this list can get you started.
CoverGirl Fibers Mascara: Do I even have to say a lot about this mascara? If you have been here awhile, you know how much I adore and have been raving about this mascara for a very, very long time.
CoverGirl BB Cream: I have tried lots of BB creams, but I always come back to this one. It goes on well with your hands or a beauty sponge. I like how light and airy it feels on my skin. It lasts throughout the day and doesn’t cake up. It works as a great base and can work as a primer. I usually wear it on it’s own for those ‘no makeup’ makeup days, which to be honest is everyday for me ๐ It also works well with other makeup products. Finally, the shades match well with my skin tone.
Real Techniques Brushes and Sponges: These brushes and sponges have been the best affordable brushes I have used so far. I prefer these over the e.l.f. ones. They apply makeup really evenly and nicely. They are sooo soft and are easy to clean. It helps that they are kind of duo fiber. The tips of the bristles are white, so when cleaning it’s a nice guide. The sponges do absorb a lot of product, but if you dampen them it will be easier to use. They also do stain pretty easily.
ColourPop Blush: This blush is soo pigmented, which is great for me because I like to add a pretty good amount of color to my cheeks. It applies nicely and evenly, but I do suggest using very little product because it is soo pigmented.
ColourPop Eyeshadow: These are also really pigmented. They work great on their own, but also with each other (or other brands’ shadows). They are really soft, so you have to be careful. They will dent or break easily, but that being said they are easy to fix too because of that softness. I think they are really cool because they feel like a cream, but are really a powder.

bh Cosmetics Carli Bybel Palette: This palette is great for a neutral makeup look. It has a lot of shimmery, brown eye shades. It also has four highlighters that are just as gorgeous. I only use the first two highlighting shades in the palette because I have pale skin. I think the darker shades would look gorgeous on darker skin than mine. They are highly pigmented and add a great sheen to the cheekbones. It’s not too glittery. They are just bam, wow ๐
Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder: I actually love this powder over the Rimmel Stay Matte. It’s finely milled so it goes on smoother. It also doesn’t leave your face feeling chalky and powdery. It sets your makeup really well and keeps it in place throughout the day. It is also translucent, which is always a plus.
Tanya Burr Cosmetics Brow Palette: This palette is probably the only affordable brow product I have found that comes super close to my brow shade. It’s highly pigmented, so I only need to use a tiny bit of product at a time. It gives me that full brow look. It’s easy to apply. And the best part is that this product is travel-friendly.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my drugstore/affordable loves. Let me know if you try any of these out. I would love to hear your opinions.
