Loving Tan 2-hr. Medium Mousse Review

I decided out of the blue that I wanted to have some color all summer, so I was reminded of Loving Tan tanning mousses when I was watching some of my favorite YouTubers (Allana Davison and Elanna Percherle). They swear by this stuff and now I do too 🙂
I have tried many a tanning product over the years. This one, I have to say, is the best one I’ve tried so far. It looks natural and is safe for my sensitive skin because it is vegan. This is great because it’s okay to apply everywhere and won’t cause breakouts.
Application is easy as well. It contains a bronzer, so when you apply it to your skin you won’t miss any spots. That being said, if you’re not as flexible (like myself, lolz) get the back applicator. I found that I can’t reach the spot between my shoulder blades so I have a weird circle of pale skin. It’s actually pretty hilarious. I will also say that it’s important to apply it quickly, which they suggest as well, because it does dry pretty fast. Other than that, this is my favorite feature of this tanning product. Like I said, I have tried tons of tanning lotions and mousses and I had issues not knowing how much to apply and whether I covered every single spot.

I also want to mention that after application, wait a bit before putting clothes on because there will be a little bit of transfer. I have found that putting on looser clothes will help. Be aware that the tan is also kind of sticky when drying, but it does dissipate pretty quickly.
I don’t know about you, but I am not a fan of the stereotypical scent of self-tanner. This is not the case with this one. It has a nice, sun cream scent. Basically, it smells like the beach 🙂
Now, at this point you’re probably wondering about the price. Well, I personally think the price is relatively inexpensive if you are talking about quality. Because I was new to the brand and wanted to try it out, I bought the bundle pack. Loving Tan offers three different bundle packs. I purchased the smaller of the three and it came with the mousse and a mitt. By the way, the mitt is nicer quality than I have used in the past. It has a velour texture and can be reused multiple times; you just have to rinse it under warm water. Anyway, I think it’s best to buy one of these bundle packs when you are first trying the brand out.
I want to talk a little bit about the shade of the mousse and how it turns out on my skin. On the site, it says their mousses and other products work for all skin colors. I would have to agree with this statement. I am super pale, so putting on any old tanning mousse or self-tanner is pretty daunting. I want the most natural looking tan I can get. I also don’t want to look splotchy and patchy; I’m not the best at applying these kinds of products 🙂 Now that I have been using this for a couple weeks, I can now say that this stuff is fool-proof and it gives me a natural bronze look. I will suggest if you’re as pale as I am, go for the medium shade and not the dark.
The last thing I like about this company is that on their website they have very helpful tips and hints, with videos included, that help if you’re a newbie at self-tanning. In fact, I used them to help me prep my skin and tan the spots that get patchy (like the hands and face).

I don’t know how well this review was written because I’m writing it last minute 🙂 But I hope that it is helpful and gives you an idea of how good the product is. Let me know if you end up trying out Loving Tan and whether you like it and it works for you.
