I know this is coming last minute, but that’s how I roll. Big procrastinator over here. With Black Friday/Cyber Monday upon us, I figured I would put together a list of things for everyone on your list. These are not in any particular order or in any sort of category.
Naadam Cashmere Sweater
For the one on your list that likes to be cozy: I first came across this company one day scrolling through Instagram (Usually how I find new things. Those darn ads!). They were advertising their $75 cashmere sweaters. I didn’t believe it…until I went to their actual website. It’s true! They have some of the most inexpensive cashmere on the market. The best thing about this company is that they do the best for the planet, the herders, & are cruelty free. Oh and they’re sweaters are soo soft! I have had mine for 2 or 3 years now and it’s just as soft as the day I got it. So, for those who love to be comfy and cosy during the winter months this is the perfect gift for them. Eyeshadow Palette
For the beauty lovers on your list: You can’t go wrong with an eyeshadow palette. There are so many great ones out there. Some of my favorites are the Tarte Tartlette in Bloom, Benefit Cheek Parade (I know, not an eyeshadow palette per se but I love using the bronzers in this palette as eyeshadows), & ColourPop x Zoella Brunch Date.
Bullet Journal/Supplies
For the organized/creative ones on your list: There are tons and tons of bullet journals and supplies you can get out there. I especially love looking at Amazon when I’m looking to add to my collection. I think it would be really cool to put together several items into a cute package to give to someone. Some of my favorite items are the Leuchturm Dotted Notebooks, Zebra Midliners, & Tombow Fudonoske Brush Pens.
Ipsy Subscription
Also for the beauty lovers on your list: If you have been following for awhile now, you know that I have been a Ipsy subscriber for quite awhile. I started out at the original $10 Ipsy bag subscription. But when the new tiers started launching, I immediately jumped at the chance to upgrade. I now receive the $25 tier. You get amazing value for that $25 too. In each of the tiers, you receive 5 items. In my case, I receive 5 full size items worth well over $25. They do now have a $50 tier where you get 12 items, but I think this is great for those who are super serious about makeup. This is a great gift idea for someone who is starting out in makeup and wants to build up their collection. It’s also great for those who just love beauty products.
Nocking Point Wines Subscription
For the wine lovers or coffee lovers on your list: This company has some of the best tasting wine I think I have ever had. If you’re a super fan of the DC shows on The CW like myself, this company is co-owned by Stephen Amell. Yep, Green Arrow himself. They have three types of subscription services. They have the quarterly wine club, the monthly wine club (Tastemaker’s Club), & a coffee club. I was a subscriber to the Tastemaker’s Club, which offers you two wines a month. In this one, they collaborate with celebrities (still HATE this word) & tastemakers (hence the name), to develop wines that reflect the person. I got some pretty great wines out of this that I’m still trying to make my way through. I had to unsubscribe to this, unfortunately, because I was moving and they don’t have a pause option at the moment. Nocking Point also has some great a la carte options in their store as well that would make great gifts. If I were to ask for any of these, I personally would go for the coffee club because I drink way more coffee than wine. Drink responsibly. Referral code: JACO029109
Fabletics
For the active ones on your list: Hands down, this is the best place for active wear. I have a few pieces from them and I wear them all the time, especially the leggings pictured below. They have all kinds of styles that accommodate everyone. They even, recently, added mens active wear to the site. Another great thing is that if you are a new member, they have a 2 for deal. I think it would be a great idea to get a whole outfit and gift to someone on your list. Or, you could pick out a few pieces to gift to someone. Right now, they have all kinds of great Black Friday deals, so this is the perfect time to stock up. Referral link: https://www.fabletics.com/invite/169225431/
Byta
For the sustainable, earth-conscious ones on your list: I absolutely love my byta coffee cup! I use it everyday and have used it everyday since I got it. It keeps my cold beverages cold and my hot beverages hot. Byta also offers other options. They have a 20 oz. coffee cup (I have the 16 oz. because that was the only option at the time), a water bottle, & a byta bites bowl. My favorite part of these, and why I think this would be a great gift idea, is that you can have them personalized. For an extra $4, you can have them engrave anything you want on the item you’re gifting. They also offer gift wrapping.
Personalized Game Controller
For the gamer on your list: The Xbox Design Lab is the perfect place to go when you want to personalize a controller for gamer in your life. My brother actually gifted this to me one year and it’s the only controller I use to operate my Xbox. If you know the person really well, you can do a lot of fun things with it. You can customize every aspect of the controller and you can add an engraving to make it that much more special.
Audible
For the reader on your list: This is the perfect gift for someone who likes reading, but doesn’t want to lug around a physical book or several books. Audible has 4 gift options; 1, 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions. And if they already are a member, they will get the credits upfront. All they have to do is download the app on their phone. There are 1000s and 1000s of titles in all genres to choose from, so they are bound to find something they like. I especially love listening to books on Audible because it’s a different experience. Some of my favorites are the ones where the author of the book is the narrator.
Thinx Period Underwear
For the women on your list: I know, I know! Kind of a weird gift to give someone. But we all have periods and if you’re like me, these days you’re trying to find ways to reduce your impact on the earth. These are perfect for just that. Thinx has several options; from the style to the flow. The also offer options for the tweens and teenagers in your life, as well as for those women who are worried about bladder leaks. I have a couple pairs and have been loving wearing them during my period because I just put them on and go about my day worry-free. The best part is that Thinx offers sets (saver and custom), so you can save some money by gifting a few pairs. Or, if that’s too weird, you can get them a gift card and they can go a pick out what they want. Referral Link: http://ref.thinxify.me/v/mindofa20something
J&Co. Jewelry
For the jewelry lover on your list: This small business’s aim is to provide access to high quality and beautiful jewelry to all. It started as an Etsy shop and is now an international brand. I first found this company on Instagram from one of those ads that draw you in. I instantly fell in love with so many pieces. There are so many different kinds of pieces that would make perfect gifts for anyone on your list. When I want good quality, inexpensive jewelry, I turn to J&Co.
Nécessaire Body Products
For the one who likes to pamper themselves on your list: This is fast becoming my favorite body care company and products. They are simple and offer all the great things your skin needs. They have all kinds of products from body washes to body serums. I have only been using the body wash, but I’m excited to try the others. This would be the perfect gift who wants simple body care and loves to pamper themselves. Necessaire offers all kinds of sets that would make perfect gifts.
Salt NY Palette
For the traveler on your list: This is the perfect gift for the beauty lovers who want to bring their beauty essentials with them when they travel. I love how customizable this palette is. It’s such great quality; from the magnetic tray to the outside. If you want to make this even more special, you can fill it up with your giftee’s favorite eyeshadows. Or, Salt NY now offers their own beauty products to fill it up. You can either buy them separately or buy a bundle and save some money.
Collective Journeys Jewelry
Also for the jewelry lover on your list: I absolutely love the bracelets that are offered at Collective Journeys. I especially love the message behind them all. Each one has a charity connected to it and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the bracelet/item go to that charity. I gifted these to my friends last year and they were big hits with them.
Function of Beauty
For the hair lover on your list: Rather, the one who loves taking care of their hair. Function of Beauty is a site where you can get hair products catered for your hair. You take a quiz and it pops out suggestions for what’s best for taking care of your hair. They don’t have specific gift options on the site, but I would just send the giftee to the site and have them take the quiz and then from there pay for their first month or several months. They also have these great add-ons, like leave-in or hair mask. Referral link: https://5ceae3174911a.functionofbeauty.com
HeleneInBetween Blogging Tools/Courses
For the blogger on your list: I have saved the best for last, imo. This woman has been a life saver to me. I have learned so much from Helene about blogging and Instagram. I have taken two of her courses already and am using her free Lightroom presets. She is offering several Black Friday offers right now. Her most recent course, Instagram Content System is 70% off right now. She is also offering a discount on her Lightroom presets. You will get 10 (5 for desktop & 5 for mobile) for $15. Lastly, she is offering 50% off all the products she offers in her shop. All of these are perfect gifts for those who want to start blogging or are already right in the thick of it. You have to hurry though because all of these deals will end Monday at midnight. I know I plan on taking advantage of these great deals.
There are tons of deals going on right now and coming our way, which I know can be overwhelming. Believe me, I’m right there with you. I’m just hoping this list has helped you with some gift ideas for the upcoming gifting season.
