From F1 being back to a really great book, I was loving a lot in April. Here are my April favorites.
Fashion
Target Men’s White T-Shirts
In the past, I found that finding a really good women’s white t-shirt was kind of a crapshoot. They were always too short or too clingy. This is why I have turned to the men’s section of any store. I like a more boxy, loose fit and these men’s t-shirts are perfect! They don’t cling to every curve of my upper body (not to say I don’t like my curves, I do, I just can’t stand clingy clothing) and they are the perfect length.
They come in packs of 3 or 5 (maybe 6), which is great because you’re getting more bang for your buck and you’ll always have back ups when one is in the wash. I picked up the medium, but if you want an oversized fit I’d say size up. I think I might have to go pick up the large in these.
TV/Movies
Pulse
This show is if ER and Grey’s Anatomy had a baby. It was so good and an interesting take on your typical medical drama shows. The action started from the get and continued throughout the whole series. I was really unsure what to think of the relationship between two of the main characters (watch it and you’ll probably see what I mean) but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the show. I highly recommend Pulse.
Younger
This is one of my all-time favorite shows and I really just wanted to rewatch it (I have lost count on how many times I have). It is one of my comfort TV shows. It’s a fun, heartwarming, funny watch. If you like Emily in Paris or Sex and the City, it’s from the same creator as those shows.
The Making of The Americas
When you’re watching one of those nature shows and loving all the beautiful imagery and you’re sitting there wondering how they get those shots. This scenario was me when watching The Americas. They got so many cool angles and beautiful shots of animals and plants, I just wondered the whole time how they did. This is that show! The lovely people who put together The Americas decided to take us along for the ride and show us the BTS of how they got every single image for the show. Guys! It was just as fascinating and beautiful as the actual show. I’m really glad someone had the forethought to include us in this journey and film it.
The Hating Game
This was a rewatch for me (I don’t know how many times this was, but I’ve rewatched it a lot!). The Hating Game is such a great romcom! It stars Lucy Hale and Austin Stowell and their chemistry is just chef’s kiss in it. This is the quintessential enemies to lovers story and I eat it up every single time I watch. I’m not gonna give away the plot because I think you should just go and watch it. And yes! I know that people love to hate (no pun intended) on this movie, especially the book readers.

It’s back baby! Ever since I watched Drive to Survive three years ago, I have been hooked on this sport. Actually, truth be told I have been aware of the sport well before this show made it into the pop culture zeitgeist. I just didn’t have any way of watching races. Now I do. If you are in the states, like myself, races are available to watch on ESPN. Every weekend there is a race, you will now find me glued to my TV watching every qualification and every race. I just love it!

I was on my TikTok FYP the other day and this was the first video that came up when I opened the app. It was the best thing I watched all day. Jordan Fisher reacting to his read of Bride by Ali Hazelwood. Chef’s kiss amazing!
Books
Done and Dusted by Lyla Sage
I’m not gonna talk too much about this book because you can read about my thoughts over on my April Reads post, but I just love this book. Like I said in that post, it was my first foray into cowboy romance and I’m glad it was. I loved the story, I loved the characters and I loved the setting.
That’s it! That’s all she wrote! Those were all the things I loved in the month of April.
