I had the pleasure of being on Caroline Corvin’s Street Team to promote this book in the run-up to her next book in this series. It has been so fun not only reading this book, but also participating and seeing all the promo posts over on Instagram.
*I was provided a copy to read for this opportunity and review.

Review
This is only my second book from Caroline Corvin, but she is fast becoming my favorite author. Ma’am! You really know how to write a man who yearns. I love a man who yearns, and you nailed it on the head. Christian was the sweetest, and he didn’t let anything from his past or anything that was happening during the span of the twelve days tarnish his time with Haley. I loved the part towards the end (minor spoiler) where a certain movie (ahem! The Idea of You) was mentioned. I cackled at that part (🤣), especially as readers, we know the whole story before the audience in this scene knows what the truth is.
The fact that this story involves dogs is the best part. As mentioned above, Haley works at an animal shelter/vet’s office as a vet nurse and is very passionate about pet adoption and fostering. As an animal lover myself, I love it when a book involves them. In my humble opinion, there are not enough of them out there. Or, I just haven’t read enough of them 😂 Tully and Mularkey (named after, you guessed it, Tully & Kate from Firefly Lane) were some of the funniest characters in this book, and Caroline did such a great job of describing them that I could picture them in my head.
This book was just a fun good time 😊
