It’s every beauty lovers favorite time of year again, the Sephora holiday sale! I thought I would give a series of guides (look out for specific categories) leading up to this year’s sale (dates, things to look for, etc.). Before I get started, I want to preface that I will not be partaking this year. I have so many products that I need to get through and I promised myself that I would use up what I have before purchasing anything more. That being said, it doesn’t mean I don’t want to provide YOU guys the information 😊

The Dates

This year’s sale starts on Halloween, so plenty of time to get started on your holiday shopping 😉

Sephora Collection (30%):

Oct. 31-Nov. 10

Rouge (20%)-Typically gets first dibs.

Oct. 31-Nov. 10

VIB (15%)

Nov. 4-Nov. 10

Insider (10%)

Nov. 4-Nov. 10

The Categories I Usually Shop

Skincare

This is the perfect time to replenish your must have skincare items. I know some of us have our go-to’s and some of those are from the more expensive brands. Depending on what tier you are in, you can get a really good discount on those items.

Holiday Sets

Now for one of the more items to go for…holiday sets! This is the time of year that lots of brands release holiday sets of the most loved items, but also some new items that haven’t been released (think Merit with a new shade exclusive to a set). In the past, I have purchased some of these and seen real value in them.

Sephora Collection

Sephora has some really great items. And regardless of what tier, you can start purchasing from the Sephora collection items from the start of the sale.

Big Ticket Items

These are typically hair tools, skincare tools, etc. Personally, I have taken advantage of my beauty tier and purchased a big ticket hair tool (*ahem* Dyson).

Fragrance

There are some pretty expensive perfumes/fragrances sold on Sephora and this is a good time to either treat yourself to ones you’ve been eyeing or treat a loved one.

Speaking of gifting, regardless of what category you are shopping this year the sale is the perfect excuse to start your gift buying.

Items I Have My Eyes On

Now, like I said I am not partaking this year I still have gone through the site and picked out some items that I would add to my collection/replenish.

Image of Paula's Choice Clear Starter Kit. The items are shown outside the packaging. The packaging is light blue with white lettering. Two of the items are bottles and two of the items are squeeze tubes.

Paula’s Choice Clear Line

This has been the only skincare that seemed to clear my adult acne, or at least reduced it. A couple years ago, I got the value set during the sale and immediately fell in love. I highly suggest purchasing this first to try it out before getting the full sizes.

An image of Merit The Flush Balm Trio set. The packaging is showed. It is burgundy red with gold lettering. Next to it is the three blushes with the caps off. One is a reddish color, one is a pink color, and the third is a nude brown color.

Merit The Mini Flush Balm Trio

This is the one item I put in my basket in the beginning of my shopping and then inevitably take out again. I always convince myself that I don’t need any more blush. One of these days, I’m going to get this.

Image of a Sephora Collection lip liner. The cap is black and the liner is the shade of the liner (this one is pink). There are two images next to each other; one closed with the black cap and the other without the cap and a line drawn with the shade. The writing is white.

Sephora Collection Lip Liners

I purchased a few of these a couple years ago and hands down, these are THE best lip liners. So creamy, so easy to use, and a great selection of shades.

Anything from Rare Beauty

I love this brand! I haven’t had any complaints about any of the products I’ve used from Rare Beauty.

There are many more things I would probably add to my cart, but the above is just a little preview. Come back tomorrow for another Sephora Holiday Sale guide.
