Sephora is one of my favorite go-to places for anything beauty related. There is such wide selection of products and brands. Here is what I would shop, makeup wise, during the sale broken down by category.
Blush
Glossier You Cloud Paint Plush Blush
I have never been the biggest fan of the original Cloud Paint blushes, but when I heard that they were launching these…let’s just say I was excited. Believe it or not, I don’t have a ton of powder blushes in my collection and if I were to add one to try out it would be one of these. I heard the formulation of them is really interesting and have seen them in action; they are beautiful!
Patrick Ta Major Beauty Headlines Double Take Creme & Powder Duos
A couple years ago, I purchased Patrick’s special edition holiday palette that included three different blushes and immediately fell in love with the formula and the different ways you could apply them. Honestly, I would recommend any of these. They are spendy, but this is the perfect time to try them out or grab a new shade because you get a little extra percentage off.
Saie Beauty Dew Blush
Ooh! These are some of my favorite blushes in my collection. I have a couple in my collection, but my favorite shade is Chilly. It’s the perfect shade for winter time. It gives you that flush you get when you’ve come inside after being out in the cold weather. They also just apply really nicely. However, you can go a bit overboard so a little goes a long way.
Tower 28 Beauty GetSet Blur + Set Matte Powder Blush
Tower 28 Beauty is one of my favorite brands and this was another product I was excited to see come from them. Again, another powered blush I would love to try and add to my collection. I haven’t seen a lot of people talk about this blush, but I think that’s a good thing because you can form your own opinion about it.
Kosas Blush is Life Baked Blush
Again, another one of my favorite brands. I have been lusting after these ever since they launched. They just look so beautiful on.
Base
Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Skin Tint
I’m a skin tint/lightweight foundation girly and I have purchased and repurchased this skin tint many times. It’s great for oily to combo skin types because not only is it lightweight, it’s a little bit matte. Every product applied on top of it sits perfectly and it lasts all day. It feels like there is nothing on your skin. The great thing about Fenty Beauty…they are so inclusive to all skin tones. There are so many shades to choose from.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
When I first started buying higher end beauty and blogging about it, this was one of the first items I purchased. Now, it’s been awhile since I’ve purchased and used it but I do remember it being really nice. It’s a well-loved product in the beauty community. It comes in soo many shades, so you are bound to find the right one for you. And it comes in a mini size, so you can try it out before buying the full-size.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
Another OG product for me. I always come back to this setting spray time and time again. They recently changed the look of the packaging, which I’m not a fan of, but that’s beside the point. What matters is the product itself. This spray is great for setting your makeup down, whether it’s for work days or long nights.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
This product isn’t great for travel, but it is a great loose setting powder for day to day makeup application. Feels lightweight on the skin and doesn’t get cakey throughout the day.
Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting Powder
I LOVE this powder! Unlike the Laura Mercier one, this is travel-friendly. The powder does what it says on the tin. It sets your makeup without getting cakey and it feels lightweight. I honestly can’t feel it on my skin. Plus, if you need a little extra coverage, this powder is slightly tinted. Also, the packaging is so cute (If you’re a sucker for cute packaging like myself, this matters).
Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Cream Bronzer
As I am a pale girlie, I use the lightest shade in this cream bronzer to contour. It’s easy to apply and lasts all day. It also provides the perfect shadowing for us pale girlies.
Eyes
Tarte Tartelette in Bloom Eyeshadow Palette
This was one of the first high-end beauty eyeshadow palettes I ever bought, so I’m a bit sentimental about it. It’s good to see that it’s still available because these shadows are delectable. The color story is great for blue or green eyes and the shadows themselves are so creamy and easy to blend.
Lancome Lash Idole Mascara
Hands down! One of my all-time favorite mascaras. Not too heavy on the lashes and the curve of the wand really gets in there and lifts your lashes. Plus, it comes in brown and mini size if you want to try it out (only available in the black shade).
Kosas Air Brow Tinted Eyebrow Gel
When I was looking for an alternative to my favorite brow gel, Benefit Gimme Brow, I found this and it was just what I wanted. It holds the brows in place while adding tint (Duh Jessica! It does say tinted in its name).
Lips
This is the category I could get carried away in, so I’m hoping I think I’m going to just provide you with one product for each part of the lip routine.
Tower 28 Beauty ShineOn Jelly Lip Gloss
When these came out, I bought soo many shades (In hindsight, probably not the best idea) because I had heard such great things about them. Those great things were true. This gloss feels so nice on the lips while adding a bit of shine and tint. I don’t have a lot of color in my lips, so these are perfect (I feel like I’ve used this word a lot in this post). I like the pinkier shades, but you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil
I had mentioned the Sephora Collection lip pencils in this post as one of my favorite lip liners. Well, these were my first love. I love that they are multipurpose (make sure to check because some shades aren’t), but I mostly use them for my lips. My favorite shade is Endless Cacao.
Clinique Almost Lipstick
Even though lipstick is its name, I don’t think I would classify it as a lipstick. It’s more of a tinted balm in my eyes. Either way, it’s a great product. I have it in the Black Honey shade, which is the classic. In fact, this is one of Clinique’s classic products. Remember when it went viral on TikTok and you couldn’t get it anywhere? There’s a reason for it. It adds the perfect amount of tint while also moisturizing your lips.
I think I have sufficiently provided a pretty good list of items to look for during the sale. Let me know what you pick up on Friday & come back tomorrow for another guide.
