The Sephora Holiday Sale is the ideal time to not only replenish and stock up on your favorite skincare, but it’s also the time to try out some new to you skincare items. I am a firm believer in spending a little more on good quality skincare. Now, skincare is personal to everyone because we all have different skin types so I’m going to give you some universal options that work for everyone regardless of your skin type.
Moisturizer

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
This moisturizer is rich, but also lightweight at the same time. I don’t know how, but it is. I like to use this during the winter time. If you’re having issues with your skin barrier or if you want to maintain your skin barrier health, this is the moisturizer to use.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizing Cream
Another great, rich moisturizer for the wintertime. It’s been awhile since I’ve used this one, but I do remember it being really nice.
Facial Spray

Tower 28 Beauty SOS Facial Spray
Another item for your skin barrier. If you suffer from acne, redness, or stressed skin this is the facial spray for you. I have purchased this over and over again. Also, there is a refillable option.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir Face Mist
Yes, this is spendy but it’s so worth it. I am a firm believer in spending a little more on skincare and this item is worth every penny. It has a subtle herbal scent and when your skin is feeling parched, this spray helps.
Face Wash

Youth to the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser
This is a good all-around cleanser for any skin type. It’s gentle but effective. It leaves your skin feeling clean after makeup or whatever elements your skin has encountered throughout the day.

The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm
Another great cleanser for makeup removal. It’s gentle and effective as well. It’s also a inexpensive alternative.
Exfoliation

Paula’s Choice BHA Exfoliating Toner
Another product I’ve been wanting to try and is a cult favorite. Even though I haven’t used or tried this, yet, I still think this is a good option to check out based on the reviews of others.
Serums
The Ordinary

Any of the serums from The Ordinary are great, but my favorites are the hyaluronic serum & the niacinamide serum. The Ordinary is an affordable brand as is, so I’m not sure it’s included in the sale but it’s still worth looking at.
The Inkey List

The Inkey List also has some affordable serums. Again, my favorites are the hyaluronic and niacinamide serums. I also believe this brand isn’t included in the sale.
Face Masks

Innisfree Pore Clearing Clay Mask
This was one of the first Korean skincare brands I tried out. And this mask is one of my favorite clay masks I’ve ever used. It’s really effective.
SPF

Supergoop Every.Single.Face Watery Lotion
If you’re like me, you don’t really like a heavy SPF for everyday use. This is a good option because it’s lightweight and works well under makeup. It’s like the gel-cream version of SPF. Plus, Supergoop is a favorite brand among us beauty lovers. You can’t go wrong with any of the Supergoop products.
I tried to provide some good options to check out that are universal. I hope this list helps. Even though the sale starts today, I have a couple more guides going up, so make sure to come back and check those out.
Happy Shopping! 😊
