My First Long-Haul Train Trip

Less than a month ago, I took my first long-haul, cross-country train trip. I have to admit that I was kind of nervous about the idea of spending 2 1/2 days on a train. It turned out to be not that bad. There were a few things I absolutely hated, but overall it was pretty fun. The views were gorgeous and the cabin I was in was pretty comfortable; minus having to sleep on the top bunk. You have to know that the train is going 80 mph down the tracks, which in turn makes the whole car shake back and forth. Try sleeping on a top bunk, with only straps stopping you from falling out, while being rocked back and forth. Not fun or cool 🙂 Let’s just say I won’t be going on a train trip for awhile. And when I do, I’ll do it differently. Anyway, I thought I would show you all the pictures I took from the trip. Enjoy!
