This month’s theme is The Unbasic Basics.

Sephora Collection Rouge Shine Lipstick in Love Spell: When I first swatched this lipstick, I thought that this is definitely not the color for me. It’s a bright, baby pink and not a color I would usually go for. Other than that, the formula is nice. It’s kind of a glossy, but pigmented formula.

Living Proof Pefect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector: I tried this out and didn’t really see the point of it. I didn’t really see any results, but of course I have only tried it once. I did enjoy the scent of it and the fact that you can sleep with it on.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel in Clear: I HATE this stuff! I have never tried ABH products before and it’s unfortunate that my first foray into the brand is this product. It made my brows super crunchy. Basically, it had the same effect that hair gel makes when you put too much in your hair. It was gross!

Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer: This product is interesting. It comes out of the tube as a solid, but when you rub your fingers together it turns into a liquid. It’s kind of fun 🙂 I like it, but I don’t know if it’s any better than a cream moisturizer.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper: I was soo excited to find this in this month’s box. I have been wanting to try this liner for ages, but just didn’t want to purchase it. Now, I’m still horrible at eye liner and when I tried this out on my lids it went all over. I’ll need to practice some more 🙂 However, I did swatch it and it’s soo pigmented which is great. It’s also super difficult to remove, which is also a good thing. You don’t want runny eyeliner 🙂

Tory Burch Jolie Fleur Verte Perfume: I have never tried anything from this brand, so when I saw this I was pretty stoked. This perfume smells amazing. It’s very feminine and is a great everyday scent.

I hope you enjoyed reading about what I liked and didn’t like in this box. Let me know if you receive this subscription box and what products you like. Also, let me know if you have tried any of these and what you think of them. I would love to hear your opinions 🙂

Jess
