Simple Skincare Exfoliating Scrub & Face Wash

I have been using both of these products for quite awhile now and I thought I would do a little review on them.

Exfoliator-If you’re like me and have sensitive skin, chemical exfoliators don’t always agree with your skin. I know they don’t always agree with mine. This is a good one to use if you have sensitive skin, but also like the grittiness and the feel of a physical exfoliator. I know grittiness sounds like it might be harsh, but this one is very gentle. I don’t find that it irritates my skin and leaves it red. I also feel that if I have that grittiness in an exfoliator, whether it’s a sugar or something else, that it actually is doing something. I want to know that those dead skin cells are actually leaving my skin. The best part of this exfoliator is that it leaves my skin feeling so soft afterwards.

Face Wash-This hasn’t been my favorite face wash I’ve ever used. I’m used to using a foaming face wash. This one isn’t foamy enough for me. I also like to use my cleansing brush with face washes and this one did not work with it. I have found that it works better when I apply it with my hands. I also found that even though this product is moisturizing, I find that it’s not as moisturizing as it could be. When I apply it to my face, it does feel nice and like it is moisturizing. Even so, I haven’t seen any real changes to my skin after using it for several months. Let’s just say that I won’t be repurchasing this product. In fact, I’ve used better drugstore face washes.

I do want to say that both of these products are great for sensitive skin and neither have a real scent. It just kind of smells natural. They are also great alternatives to higher end skincare products, even though I think it’s good to invest in your skincare. Every once in awhile, I like to scale back and not spend an exorbitant amount of money on my skincare.

I hope this review was helpful. Let me know in the comments down below if you’ve tried these products and what you thought of them. I would love to hear from you!

Thanks for reading!

Jess
