Hello Lovelies!

Now that I have tried this new Lancome lip product, I want all the colors.

As you saw in my May favorites post, I have been loving the Lancome L’absolu Lacquer in #356 Rose Fugace.

It’s a beautiful berry color that goes on so smoothly. What’s great about the color is that it works great for any time of the year.

This lip product is also very moisturizing, which I absolutely need. My lips have been so dry and chapped for months. The concept behind this moisturization is the oil-in-water emulsion (not my words, Lancome’s & Sephora’s). This is the same emulsion that is in their Juicy Shakers and Matte Shakers, both of which I love. There is also glycerin in the formula, which is an ingredient known for moisturizing.

The coolest part of the L’absolu Lacquers is that they are a three-in-one lip product. According to the Sephora website; it has the comfort & shine of lip gloss, the pigment of a lipstick, and the lasting power of a lip stain. I would definitely agree with all these claims. The more I layer it, the more opaque it gets. There’s also little to no transfer. I will drink some water and I barely see anything on the glass/straw.

I am so tired of matte lipsticks and liquid lipsticks. This has become my new favorite formula for a lip product. Plus, the price tag isn’t that bad. It’s $26 for one. Considering the brand, I think that’s pretty reasonable.

Are you looking for a new lip product to try? Have I convinced you to try this one? Have you tried these lacquers before?

Thanks for reading!
